Parasaurolophus

PAR-ah-sore-AH-lo-fuss – “Near x reptile”

Parasaurolophus lived during the Late Cretaceous (80 million years ago) in what is now Alberta, Canada. The long, hollow, cranial crest of this dinosaur contained extended nasal passages and perhaps acted as a vocalization chamber or “trumpet”.
